Named after its eponymous founder, Kelly Wearstler is a behemoth in the world of interior design. In the brand’s tenth collaboration with The Rug Company, the Crux rug has been created – a masterclass in innovative design and expert craftsmanship. The handmade rug is tightly woven from a natural blend of wool and silk, with a hand-knitted white wool base that provides the triangular shapes that intersect the ombré blocks. The wool is soft underfoot and stain-resistant, the nettle adds depth to the texture and the silk reflects light, creating a subtle sheen that contrasts beautifully with the matte wool. It’s available in two gentle, earth-tone hues: the champagne-tone Auburn and the cool, metallic Cognac.
