7 of the Best Harrods Lunch Spots

Words by Henry Coldstream

Lunch can mean very different things to different people. For some, it’s a moment of calm in an otherwise hectic day; for others, a leisurely ritual to be drawn out and savoured. It can be a solo pause during a day spent shopping or even a midday social occasion. Here at Harrods, no matter what kind of lunch you’re craving, we can assure you that you’ll be able to find exactly what you’re looking for.

In fact, across our eight floors and
21 restaurants and bars, you’ll be hard pushed to not to find something that ticks all the right boxes. Does a Neapolitan-style pizza and a glass of wine at our Second Floor pizzeria sound appealing? Perhaps you’d prefer an array of vibrant dips at Somewhere Café to mop up with fluffy flatbreads. Or is it simply a salt beef sandwich at Harrods Café you’re on the hunt for?

Allow us to guide you through our favourite lunch spots in-store, so that next time you’re visiting the Terracotta Palace, you know exactly where to head when you begin to feel a little peckish.

Pizzeria & Pasqua

If your idea of the perfect lunch involves melted mozzarella, fluffy crusts and a generous glass of Italian wine, Pizzeria & Pasqua may just be the spot for you. Found on our Second Floor, this is where to come for some of the finest pizza in Knightsbridge alongside a variety of pasta dishes and small plates.

Expect a Neapolitan-style menu that blends Italian tradition with an added touch of flair – think burrata-topped caponata to start, truffle-rich pizzas and even a signature chicken shawarma number for those wanting to try something a bit different. With plenty of space kept for walk-ins, it’s an effortless stop for a spontaneous shopping-day feast.

Somewhere Café

Sometimes the best lunches are those which feel like a bit of an escape – a moment to disconnect during a busy day. Somewhere Café offers the ideal setting to do exactly that. Whether you decide to take a seat in the colourful, artefact-filled dining room or out on the bright indoor terrace, you’ll quickly feel both relaxed and eager to explore Somewhere’s varied Middle Eastern menu.

Begin with a selection of dips to share, with four different varieties of hummus alone to choose between, before tucking into the likes of bao buns and beef shawarma beetroot rice. We’d also advise leaving room for dessert, as the signature Somewhere baklava isn’t to be missed – even at lunchtime.
