3 New Brands to Know at Harrods

Words by Sophia Miller

You may already be well-versed in the Loewes and Bottega Venetas of the fashion world – but, beyond those headline brands, there are a wealth of independent names who share a voice in Womenswear at Harrods. We spoke to the creative minds behind Bite Studios, Liberowe and Loulou de Saison, three of the most exciting new arrivals in-store and online, to find out more about their process, what makes their collections special, and what style means to them.

Bite Studios

Despite being raised in opposite corners of rural Sweden, designers Veronika Lund and William Lundgren share a deep reverence for nature. “For us, it’s unthinkable not to place the environment at the core of what we do,” says Lundgren. Bite Studios – short for By Independent Thinkers for the Environment – works only with certified natural materials or recycled fibres, creating garments that not only feel beautiful against the skin but are kinder to the planet. “To Veronika and me, luxury means making considered choices of materials,” Lundgren elaborates. “We hope to pioneer a new approach to garment making, shifting industry practices towards organic, high-quality textiles.” Who is the Bite Studios woman? “We dress a lot of leaders,” he says. “The aim is to create garments with integrity: pieces that embody beauty, calm and groundedness as women go through their everyday lives.”

Liberowe

After years of working for names including Alexander McQueen and Christopher Kane, a trip to India was the catalyst for designer Talia Loubaton to finally create her own brand. “There was something in the silhouettes – the Nehru-collared jackets especially – that reminded me of the 1960s and 1970s, periods in fashion I’ve always been drawn to,” she explains. When she returned home, Loubaton began developing what would become the first Liberowe collection from her dining room table. Today, the brand has garnered a legion of loyal customers who sing the praises of its signature button-front dresses, jackets and waistcoats – all tailored in London. “I mostly design for myself,” says Loubaton. “I go with what I love and what feels right. Luckily, that seems to click with a lot of women.”

Loulou de Saison

“Launching Loulou de Saison felt like a breath of fresh air – a space where I could fully explore my own narrative without compromise,” explains creative director and founder Chloé Harrouche. Following a career in fashion consulting, Harrouche established the brand in 2019 to cater to the needs of multifaceted modern women. Blending softness and strength – think structured tailoring paired with fluid silhouettes – the Loulou de Saison aesthetic is “rooted in French sensibilities and an affection for timeless classics” the designer says. So, what’s next? “I see Loulou de Saison evolving beyond clothing – through meaningful collaborations, new categories or even immersive experiences that allow people to connect with the brand in unexpected ways,” Harrouche says.
