    Harrods Rewards

    1.1.         These Terms and Conditions govern the Harrods Rewards loyalty programme operated by Harrods Limited of 87–135 Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, London SW1X 7XL (Company No. 30209) (‘Harrods’), under which cardholders earn Harrods Rewards points on certain Harrods purchases and receive other membership benefits in accordance with the terms of the programme below (the ‘Programme’).

    Harrods Limited operates the Programme for itself and on behalf its group companies Harrods Beauty Limited and Harrods International Limited, in respect of sales with those group companies.

     

    1.2.         Membership
    On joining the Programme, each member (‘Member’) will be issued a digital Harrods Rewards card and unique membership number (‘Rewards Card’) which will entitle the Member to participate in the Programme. Please note that we are no longer issuing physical Rewards Cards (existing physical cards will continue to work for existing Members). Any physical Rewards Cards remain the property of Harrods.

    Rewards Cards are limited to one per person and are for personal use by the registered cardholder only. Rewards Cards cannot be shared, distributed or used for commercial purposes.

    Harrods reserves the right to suspend or cancel a Rewards Card, any benefits, or membership to the Programme, if Harrods believes the Rewards Card is not being used in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

     

    1.3.      Collecting Harrods Rewards Points
    Members can earn loyalty points (‘Rewards Points’) on qualifying purchases at selected Harrods locations, depending on the Member’s Membership Tier at the time of purchase (see below for further details on ‘Qualifying Purchases and Exclusions’ and ‘Membership Tiers’). 

    Rewards Points can be earned on qualifying purchases at Harrods Knightsbridge, Harrods Heathrow and Gatwick airport stores, at H beauty stores and on harrods.com only. For the avoidance of doubt, unless as part of a specific promotion Rewards Points cannot be earned via Harrods Estates and Harrods Aviation.

    Rewards Points are earned on the full pounds sterling value on qualifying purchases and transaction values may be rounded down to the nearest full pounds sterling. If a qualifying purchase takes a Member’s expenditure into a higher Membership Tier threshold, any increased points per £1 spent (‘Multiplier Points’) will apply to purchases made thereafter for the remainder of that day and the remainder of that calendar year (but shall not apply retrospectively to any of a Member’s previous purchases). Members will not earn Rewards Points to the extent that they are redeeming Rewards Points to pay for a purchase.

    If a qualifying purchase takes a Member’s expenditure into a higher Membership Tier threshold, any increased points per £1 spent (‘Multiplier Points’) will apply to purchases made thereafter for the remainder of that day and the remainder of that calendar year (but shall not apply retrospectively to any of a Member’s previous purchases). Members will not earn Rewards Points to the extent that they are redeeming Rewards Points to pay for a purchase.

    Members must present their Rewards Card at the time of payment in order to collect Rewards Points.

    Requests to add Harrods Rewards points from transactions where the Rewards Card was not presented at the time of purchase will be considered on a discretionary basis and Harrods reserves the right to limit the number of these transactions applied to the Rewards Card. Rewards Points may only be earned on purchases made by the Member. 

    If a Member is given a refund or other financial adjustment on any transaction, the Harrods Rewards points awarded on the transaction will be adjusted accordingly.

    In line with our Returns Policy, we reserve the right to delay issuing any Rewards Points at our discretion for up to 14 days after purchase.

     

    1.4.         Qualifying Purchases and Exclusions 
    Certain departments, brands and services are excluded from some or all of the Programme Benefits and offers (including, but not limited to, those set out below). The list of exclusions may change from time to time in Harrods’ discretion. Please contact Customer Services for a full list of exclusions. 

    Earning and redeeming Rewards Points (including bonus Rewards Points): 
    Members cannot earn or redeem Rewards Points on excluded products or in excluded departments including on the following purchases: 
    Gift Cards and gift vouchers (including gift experiences), 
    prescription medicines, tobacco, 
    purchases via third-party food delivery services, 
    Edit LDN purchases, 
    delivery charges, and any gratuities. 
    For more information on excluded products and departments please ask in-store or contact Customer Service. 

    Exclusive discount (including 10% days): 
    Unless expressly included as part of a promotion, a number of departments are excluded from discount days including (but not limited to): Fine Jewellery and Watches, Food Halls, Restaurants and Cafes, Hair & Beauty Salon, Wellness Clinic, Furniture orders, Halcyon Gallery, Gift Cards, Abercrombie & Kent Private Travel, as well as a number of individual brands. 
    Please ask instore for a full list of exclusions, including excluded brands. Discount days cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion, or exchanged for cash. For the avoidance of doubt, discount days cannot be used at Harrods Aviation, Harrods Estates, Harrods Heathrow and Gatwick airport stores or on harrods.com.

    Halcyon Gallery:  
    Members cannot earn Rewards Points (including Multiplier Points and/or bonus Rewards Points) on certain purchases of original artworks through the Halcyon Gallery (please ask instore at the Halcyon Gallery for further details). Purchases through the Halcyon Gallery are excluded from any other discount days (including 10% days)

     

    1.5.         Membership Tiers
    Members will be assigned a membership tier level according to their total level of spend during each calendar year (from 1st January to 31st December, inclusive) (‘Membership Tier’). Harrods reserves the right (in its discretion) to substitute and/or change these spend levels at any time. Members can progress to a higher Membership Tier during a calendar year and will retain that higher Membership Tier for the remainder of that calendar year, plus the following calendar year (the ‘Reward Year’). Members are required to meet the relevant spend threshold during the Reward Year in order to retain that higher Membership Tier for a further calendar year, otherwise they will be downgraded by one Membership Tier level after the end of the Reward Year. 

    Any refunds processed during a calendar year will reduce the Member’s total level of spend for the purpose of determining their Membership Tier (regardless of when the refund is processed). Harrods reserves the right to reverse a Membership Tier upgrade and deduct any Multiplier Points earned at a higher Membership Tier as a result of any refunds processed.

     

    1.6.          Redeeming Rewards Points
    Please note that at the end of May 2022, “Cash Reward” will be discontinued. Any remaining Cash Reward on a Member’s account will be converted back into Rewards Points and redeemable in accordance with the below (please note however, any reconverted Rewards Points will expire on 31 December 2024). Where a Member holds Cash Reward as the primary member of a Group account, the converted Rewards Points will be assigned to the individual Group member where the Rewards Points were originally earned and will not be held on the primary Member’s account. As part of this change, any other Rewards Points held by that primary member of a Group account that were originally earned by another Group member will be reassigned to the relevant Group member. 

    Rewards Points have a value corresponding to £5 for each 500 Rewards Points. 

    Members may redeem Rewards Points at any time during the calendar year, provided that they have a Rewards Points balance of at least 500 at the time of redemption. Rewards Points are made ‘available for redemption’ in increments of 500 points (‘Points Milestone’) (meaning that once a Member has earned 500 Rewards Points, those 500 points will then be available for redemption). Any Rewards Points below a Points Milestone will not be available for redemption and will remain on the Member’s account until the relevant Points Milestone is achieved or the Rewards Points expire.

    Rewards Points will remain on a Member’s account for the remainder of the calendar year in which they were earned, plus a further two full calendar years (for example, Rewards Points earned on a purchase made on 31 January 2022 will remain on a Member’s account until 31 December 2024). Unless otherwise stated as part of Programme promotion, Members will have one expiration date per calendar year but may have Rewards Points expiring over multiple calendar years. Please contact Customer Services for more information. 

    Rewards Points may only be redeemed against qualifying purchases in  participating  departments  at  the  Harrods  Knightsbridge  store  or  H beauty stores (for further details see the ‘Qualifying Purchases and Exclusions’ section above). For the avoidance of doubt, Rewards Points cannot be redeemed via Harrods Estates, Harrods Aviation, Harrods Heathrow and Gatwick airport stores or on harrods.com. Members must advise the sales associate that they wish to redeem their Rewards Points and present their Rewards Card at the time of purchase.

    Any refund of an item purchased with Rewards Points will be refunded/returned subject to the terms of the Harrods Rewards programme. Where a Member has paid (in whole or in part) for their purchase by redeeming Rewards Points, the points will be refunded back to the Member’s account (and before any other tender is refunded, in the case of partial payment).  

    The ability for Members to redeem their Rewards Points may be subject to seasonal restrictions during Harrods sale periods.

    Where there is a negative Rewards Points balance on a Member’s account Harrods reserves the right to suspend a Member’s Rewards Card, until the account has been settled.

     

    1.7.        Bonus Points
    Members may be eligible to receive bonus Rewards Points on certain qualifying purchases from time to time (see “Qualifying Purchases and Exclusions’ section above) (‘Bonus Points’). Unless expressly stated, Members cannot earn bonus Rewards Points at Abercrombie & Kent Private Travel, The Wellness Clinic, Harrods Interior Design and watch repairs.

    In addition to the remaining terms and conditions of the Programme, Bonus Points offers are subject to the terms and conditions below as well as any additional terms and conditions that may apply to the individual offer (please see the individual promotional communication for full details including offer validity dates, how to redeem the offer and any brand or other exclusions).

    Bonus Points are only available during the validity period stated on the individual promotional communication. Unless expressly stated in the terms of the individual promotion, Bonus Points are not available in conjunction with any other offer (including 10% days). Members must present their Rewards Card at the time of redeeming the offer.

    Bonus Points are available for all Membership Tiers (on one transaction only) during the stated offer period (excluding any delivery charges), subject to a maximum of 10,000 additional Rewards Points (inclusive of any Multiplier Points).

    Please note that Bonus Points will be automatically credited to the Member’s account but may not appear until the Member’s next quarterly statement (Members are advised to contact Customer Service if their account has not been updated within 3 months of the qualifying transaction(s)).

    Bonus Rewards Points voucher (including barcode) redemptions: where the bonus Rewards Points offer is included on a voucher, Members will be required to present the original voucher at the time of redeeming the offer. Damaged vouchers or copies, pictures and/or duplications of vouchers will not be accepted. Vouchers are non-transferable, may not be refunded, resold or exchanged for cash or any other item. Vouchers will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

    Happy Birthday offer: subject to the remaining terms and conditions applicable to bonus Rewards Points offers, Members can earn bonus Rewards Points during the week in which their birthday takes place, being a seven-day period from Monday to Sunday (inclusive).  A Member’s birthday must be captured on their Rewards account to be eligible to receive this benefit.

     

    1.8.        Harrods Rewards Benefits
    Members will receive the following benefits according to their Membership Tier (‘Benefits’). Benefits are subject to availability and Harrods reserves the right to substitute and/or change the Benefits at any time at its discretion (please note that not all Benefits are available in all our stores). To redeem any Benefits, Members must present a valid Rewards Card when requested:

    Green: up to £1,999
    - 1 point earned for every £1 spent 
    - Exclusive discount days
    - Extra Rewards points on specially selected days
    - Invitation to Mini Harrods
     
    Green 2: £2,000-£4,999
    - 1 point earned for every £1 spent

    Black: £10,000+
    - 3 points earned for every £1 spent
    - Exclusive discount days
    - Extra Rewards points on specially selected days
    - Invitation to join Mini Harrods
    - Complimentary Harrods Magazine
    - Complimentary Gift Wrapping
    - Complimentary UK standard delivery when shopping in-store
    - Complimentary tea or coffee in-store
    - Two extra 10% discount days per year
    - Eligibility to apply for the exclusive Harrods American Express® card
    - Complimentary basic alterations with The Tailors
    - Two hours’ complimentary car parking at Harrods Brompton Place
     
    In addition to the remaining terms and conditions of the Programme, the Benefits are subject to the following terms and conditions.:

    Points earned for every £1 spent – Eligibility to earn Rewards Points on qualifying purchases at selected Harrods locations. Departmental and brand exclusions apply. 

    Exclusive discount days – Eligibility to receive additional discounts on qualifying purchases at Harrods Knightsbridge and H beauty stores on selected days throughout the year. Departmental and brand exclusions apply. 

    Extra Rewards points on specially selected days – Eligibility to earn additional Rewards Points on qualifying purchases at Harrods Knightsbridge and H beauty stores on selected days. Departmental and brand exclusions apply.

    Invitation to join Mini Harrods – Eligibility to join the children’s loyalty programme for parents (or legal guardians) and children aged up to 10 only. Subject to the terms and conditions of the Mini Harrods programme.

    Complimentary Harrods Magazine – Eligibility to receive certain Harrods magazine publications throughout the year (selected at Harrods discretion). Subscription activated online through the Member’s harrods.com account.

    Complimentary Gift Wrapping (Harrods Knightsbridge only) – Eligibility for one item to be gift wrapped (from Harrods standard gift wrapping service options). Subject to availability, restricted to one item per Member per day, on same day purchases from Harrods only. Eligible on Member’s purchases only (and not transferable to another person, including another Member of the Programme). 

    Complimentary UK standard delivery when shopping in-store (Harrods Knightsbridge only) - Eligible on purchases of £250 or over. Standard delivery service, to mainland UK addresses only. Not valid on selected items in Home & Furniture, Technology. Ask in store for a full list of exclusions. 

    Complimentary tea or coffee in-store – One complimentary tea or coffee per Rewards Card per day. Selected menu items only, in selected cafés and restaurants at Harrods Knightsbridge only (currently Harrods Café and Harrods Social). Please ask in store for full details). 

    Two extra 10% discount days per year  – Two extra 10% days per calendar year per Rewards Card at the Harrods Knightsbridge and H beauty stores only (brand and departmental exclusions apply). Not available on harrods.com purchases. 10% discount days can be booked through a Member’s online account or by contacting Customer Services. 24 hours’ prior notice required. Offer not valid during 10% weekends and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

    Eligibility to apply for the exclusive Harrods American Express® Card – This provides additional Harrods Rewards points and benefits. Application is by invitation only and applicants must be UK residents aged 18 years or older. Approval subject to status, certain exclusions apply.     Complimentary basic alterations with The Tailors (Harrods Knightsbridge only) – Maximum of £25 (per item) towards the cost of Harrods’ basic alteration services on same day purchases from the Womenswear, Menswear, and Childrenswear departments only at Harrods Knightsbridge (redeemable on the day of purchase only). Only one Rewards Card may be used at one time. Please enquire in-store for the prices of individual alterations.

    Two hours’ complimentary car parking (subject to availability) – In the Harrods car park at Brompton Place only, for up to a maximum of two hours per day for one vehicle. Only one Rewards Card may be used at one time per vehicle.

     

    1.9.         Updates and Changes to the Programme
    Harrods has the right to terminate the Programme or make changes to the terms of the Programme at any time. Harrods will not be liable for any resulting loss or damage. For up-to-date terms and conditions (including any updates), Members should refer to the Harrods Rewards Terms & Conditions on harrods.com. A Member will be deemed to have accepted any changes or variations by the continued use of a Rewards Card. Members who are employees of Harrods, their affiliates or partners may be subject to additional rules and restrictions from time to time and will be notified separately.

    At its discretion, Harrods can refuse or revoke any Member’s membership of the Programme, at anytime. In that case, the Member’s Rewards Points will be forfeited.

     

    1.10.         General
    Please note that from time to time we may ask Members to provide identification when presenting their Rewards Card (including when redeeming Rewards Points).

    Members are personally liable for any and all fees, costs, charges, claims or liabilities (including taxes) of whatever nature arising from their membership of the Programme.

    Members shall notify Customer Service of any change of address or other personal details and of any damage, theft or loss of a Member’s Rewards Card.

    Harrods shall not be liable for any damage, theft, loss or unauthorised use of a Member’s Rewards Card (including unauthorised Rewards Points redemption), and Members are strongly advised to keep their Rewards Card and details safe and secure.

    If there is any difference between the terms and conditions as set out on harrods.com and other information provided in relation to the Programme, the terms and conditions on harrods.com will prevail.

    These terms and conditions do not affect Members’ statutory rights.

    These terms and conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

     

    1.11.         Privacy and Your Data
    Harrods Limited, Harrods Beauty Limited and Harrods International Limited are each independent data controllers of any personal information collected about Members in relation to the Programme.

    Any personal information will be used in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, other applicable laws and these terms and conditions.

    By participating in the Programme, Harrods will collect and store any information provided by the Member to Harrods on enrolment in the Programme and information relating to the Member’s transactions, purchases and participation in the Programme. This will include personal data about a Member including their name, address and purchases from Harrods. Harrods may also collect any additional relevant information about a Member (which a Member has made available via third parties) to help Harrods to make decisions about the products and services that a Member may be interested in.

    Where Members interact with other Harrods group companies, Harrods may also share this information with those group companies in their capacity as independent data controllers to help those companies provide a more bespoke service to Members (including Harrods Aviation Limited, Harrods Estates Limited, Air Harrods Limited and Harrods Department Store (Shanghai) Co., Limited).

    Harrods (and its group companies, as applicable) will use a Member’s personal information for the following purposes: a) administering the Programme (including the provision of Benefits), which may include the sharing of information with carefully selected third party partners to assist with the operation of the Programme; b) where the Member has provided their consent, offering products and services that are likely to be of interest including special events, offers, promotions and publications by post, email, phone and/or through any social network and c) market research and statistical analysis.

    1.11.               Peloton Terms and Conditions
    1. Harrods Rewards members who purchase Peloton merchandise of or including bikes, treads, apparel or accessories from the Peloton concession on the fifth floor of the Harrods Knightsbridge store (“Peloton Concession”) are eligible to receive Harrods Rewards loyalty points when presenting their Rewards card and providing their Rewards card number to the Peloton sales associate when making a Qualifying Purchase, subject to the remaining terms set out below (“Qualifying Customers”).

    2. Rewards Points are only available on Peloton equipment, apparel, and accessories (“Qualifying Purchases”). Purchases in relation to subscriptions or mobile app purchases or any other services offered by Peloton are excluded. Please ask instore at the Peloton Concession for more information.

    3. In the event that any or all or the Qualifying Purchase items are returned, refunded, or reduced in price the corresponding number of Rewards points will be deducted from the customer’s account.

    4. The contract of sale for all purchases of Peloton goods and services through the Peloton Concession is between the customer and Peloton. All customer services in respect of the sale of Peloton goods and services are the responsibility of Peloton.

    5. This offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer. Customers may be eligible to receive 10% discount on customer 10% weekends (please check in store at the Peloton Concession before purchasing). However, please note that Gold tier and Black tier Harrods Rewards customers will not be able to use their nominated 10% days on any Peloton purchases.

    6. This offer is non-transferable and is only available on Qualifying Purchases by the Rewards card holder named on the Harrods Rewards account.

    7. Rewards points on Qualifying Purchases may take up to 3 months to be added to the customer’s account. Any membership tier changes or other changes to programme benefits on the customer Harrods Rewards accounts as a result of the Qualifying Purchase shall only take effect at the time the Rewards points have been added to the customer’s account (and Harrods shall not be liable to the customer for any retrospective benefits changes from the date of the Qualifying Purchase).

    8. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the Harrods Rewards number together with any other details shared with Peloton are accurate. Harrods has no responsibility for the accuracy of any information provided by customers to Peloton and/or any information shared with Harrods.

    9. Harrods decision is final as to the allocation of Rewards points. Harrods has the right to refuse to add Rewards points if the name on the customer order does not match the details held by Harrods for the Rewards card number provided.

    10. Harrods Rewards points are not available on Harrods staff discounted purchases.

    11. By presenting their Rewards card information to the Peloton sales staff, the customer accepts that Peloton will share the customer’s name, contact information, purchase details and Rewards card information with Harrods for the purpose of Harrods verifying the customers details and their eligibility to receive Rewards points on the purchase.
